The batteries were now Ultra light weight , retained super efficient power storage , and had really fast charge times - Other Brands have followed but Makita’s early start in the market and their fantastic successes amongst discerning tradesmen has fuelled further development. This means Makita now offer over 100 Tools in the popular 18v Lithium Iron Range. They have also created the 2 x 18v range delivering more power and run time but staying on the same 18v battery and charger platform.
