This tool has been based on and designed around the highly popular Makita DHP480.

The Makita DHP484 is a 18v combi drill with a brushless motor, which extends run time off the batteries and gives less strain on the motor. This tool has two speed settings, and gives off the same high performance as other models without the excessive weight and bulkiness. The tool contains overload and overheating protection which prolongs tool life.
