The Makita DHR242 is a high-performance cordless combination hammer which accepts SDS+ drill bits, and features a removeable/detachable chuck to be replaced with a standard ‘twist’ 3 jaw chuck to accept standard drill bits. This rotary hammer is featuring efficient Brushless DC motor provides higher productivity than model DHR202. The tool body is separated into the upper and lower housings at the foot of handle portion where the housings are jointed with vibration absorbing cushion rubbers. It is fitted with a variable speed trigger, electronic brake and 40 chisel lock positions. The brushless DC motor reduces energy loss for higher productivity.

The Makita DX07 is a portable, cordless dust extractor attachment for use with the Makita DHR243 SDS+ Rotary Hammer SDS. No additional battery required, just simply slide the DX07 onto the bottom of the DHR242 and its ready to use. The DX07 takes its power from the DHR242, using minimal power and doesn’t drain the battery more. This tool features auto take of which means there is no switch to turn it on or off, the DX07 auto starts up when the trigger of the DHR242 is pressed. Designed with a HEPA filter which captures and traps almost all particles with an affection rate of 99.75%!
